This year we will be having Two Coach trips, read through the Calendar for the dates
SATURDAY MAY 18TH Coach Trip departs 10am to the AMERICAN MUSEUM & GARDENS, BATH go to their website www.americanmuseum.org for more info. This trip will be advertise elsewhere. cost, £25pp includes entry to Museum, Exhibittion, Gardens, American Garden Deli, & Gift Shop COACH DEPARTS FROM THE VILLAGE CAR PARK (Charlton mackrell School)

SUNDAY JUNE 9TH 10.30 - 2PM VILLAGE CAFE & PLANT SALES A Very popular event with visitors from Far & wide. TEAS, COFFEE, HOME BAKED CAKES, & BACON BUTTIES This year the CHS are donating 50% of the profits from both the Cafe and Raffle to " Raise the Roof" campaign, to go towards the renovation of the Community Centre. RAFFLE Volunteers most welcome!!
SATURDAY JUNE 22ND 1.30 Gill & Vic are welcoming MEMBERS AND PARTNERS to the annual BBQ please note this is an earlier start than usual. The CHS will provide the meats, but some donations of side dishes and desserts on the day would be well accepted just let us know what you will be bringing so we don't double up on Dishes ... Venue. BEGGARS ROOST, HILLWAY, CHARLTON MACKRELL
SATURDAY JULY 6TH VILLAGE DAY, we will have our usual marquee selling a mix of perennial and indoor plants. Any volunteers who can possibly help would be most welcome
MONDAYJULY 22ND Doors open 7 pm "GOLD CLUB TALK" Gardening for Pollinators hear how to encourage more wildlife into your gardens
SATURDAY AUGUST 10TH OUR SECOND COACH TRIP MEMBERS AND PARTNERS ONLY SOCIAL COACH TRIP TO WEYMOUTH. COST £15PP Bring your own Picnic & booze! or Have Fish and Chips on the beach. This is a smaller coach than normal so TICKETS are AVAILABLE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS
SUNDAY AUGUST 25TH 1 pm "PICNIC IN THE PARK" Meet at the Community Field and bring your own picnic, drinks and Chairs. The hall will be open for the use of the toilets.
FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 20TH MAJOR EVENT! Doors open 6.30pm "An evening with BOB FLOWERDEW" , Bob has a well honed, witty, yet informative ‘No Work Gardening’ where he pokes fun at commonly accepted gardening advice over the heads of foolish garden experts and those who proffer daft advice.
We will also have a LICENCED BAR ** Raffle
